Question Garmin map 162

I recently bought Bluechart for my map162. I unloked the region I needed but my gps unit wont unlock the maps. Anyone have any thouhts on this?

I know that I had to go into the menu and turn the maps on that I wanted to see on my 188c.

kevinbp, I think fishaholic18 is correct. If you go to the menu and select MAP, then click the Source tab up top. Turn the Basemap to OFF and MapSource to ON, it should display all the chart information that you've downloaded. You may also have to go to the MAP Setup page and select MapSource Info as well. This is referenced on pages 30-32 in your manual. Good luck.
I've got the 162 with BlueCharts as well. If you continue to have problems, a quick call to Garmin wouldn't hurt. They are very helpful.

Yes I contacted Garmin and it turns out they gave me a bad unlock code thanks for the advice. The Bluechart maps are great
