TeamRockOn are you out there?
Just heard through the grapevine that the MUG is selling the 38 and going over to Donzi. Have you heard anything?

I heard a similiar rumor out there in cyberspace. Did you see the new schedule for next year? 4 tourneys in NJ and 3 in the other divisions.

The ASA tourny's are not on top of my list. The only tourny I want to fish is Maryland in May, because for the most part it is a check out tournament. (Except for the mug). and we have done well there the past two years. ASA needs to make a lot of changes this year for me to participate. I am going to focus on the Monster Shark, and a couple of tuna tournaments this year. If the ASA does not make a change, I am not going to participate.......
PS. Want to buy a boat?

I'm not sure how that tourney is different than all their other tournies. Far as I could tell, boats were leaving from every harbor down there. I talked to guys that put in as far as 60 miles from the Bridge.
Having said that, we are probably still going down just for the fun of it. As far as tournies up here, there is something brewing that I think will be a whole lot more fun for more people.

JB,
We thought about putting together something as well but to do it correctly, multiple tournaments, different location, sponsors, awards, websites, publicity etc....(you need all these to attract sponsors) and to fish the events. I don't see how you would be able to do both. Fish and run the events...
If you have the answers, I am all ears.....
