Just checked. They got 'em yesterday morning. They shipped it from Mass. to Conn. and then back to the same place in Mass., then to Springfield. At least I now know that they aren't still in the mail. Will see how long this all takes. They said about 10 days.

That's why I had to mail back 2. A traveling couple. I was sure to put in a very clear explanation of the problems with both. My brother still has my new (used) Browning Hi-Power, so I still got one of Pop's .45's to keep me compnay till my others come back.
It stinks though.......no fish and and I can't even go shooting to blow off steam.............

Well, got my guns back from S&W. For the most part it seems they just replaced the hammers on both guns. They sent what I am assuming is all the old parts back. Will take em to the range this weekend to see how they function.

Guns seem to be fine. I put about 150 rounds through both with no malfunctions. Was worried when I first tried to load my Hydrashock rounds into the 9 cause they weren't loading too smoothly, but they seem to be going fine now.
Thank god.

Gun Mail
How about you re-loaders outhere! Who has a nice load for a
.357 and .38 special using Hornady 147gr.JHP. with the same
powder? I know primers and amount of powders are different, but I want to use the same powder.
I have found the use of the same powder for 150gr.JSP by
Hornady in 30-06, .308win, & 30-30 win. I am trying to cut down on the amount of different powders I use.

I'll ask my ole man as he is the reloading guru of the family. We reload and shoot ALOT of .38 and .357 in all types, jacketed, lead, wad cutter, semi wadcutter. I'll see what he knows. I am pretty sure we mainly use Bullseye powder though.
