nice! Glad to hear you are gong to test them before painting: I only had AYC laying around (which we all know is very bouyant) so I needed a lot of lead. I've been using .531 caliber musket balls and thought 2 would be good, but it turned out I needed 3.

On the next batch I'm going to weight and wire them so the eyes and head are in the back.

Oh... one plug please for design royalties

Uh huh..totally hijacked!

anyway..thanks for the kind words boys.
*newsflash* got an airbrush today! Squids will be the first to get the squirt...soon as I figure out how to use it right!

Now I return youz to the Hijack...."how much for the squid Eben!"
HOW MANY PLUGS IS IT GOING TO TAKE!

Cape~ster ... How does the one with the metal lip swim? I was a wondering what to do with these. I have Danny style and Pikie lips. I also considered a darter body. In the end I think I'll go with the sinker twitch / pencil theory. ...Thoughts? Anyone?

Nice squids Eben killer glass work. How does it swim

One from me. Couple shots of lead in the belly to make it sink. The fins at the front are cut from stainless steel sheet. Twitch the rod tip during retrieve to get it to dart a little. Rubber skirt breathes when it is at rest.

Eben: everything you do looks like glass. The finish on those plugs is awesome. That brown needle looks like you used brown glass. Like a re-worked Budweiser bar bottle. Beautiful!!!
