What's All This Stuff I Hear About Mother Carey's Chickens?

Who in the hell was Mother Carey anyway?

Is she possibly any relation to Aunt Carrie?

Has anybody ever eaten one of the little birds and do they taste anything like chicken? Or more like plover?

If they're really least terns why are they the least?

Jeez, there's gotta be another question in there some where...

Remember that Chinese restaurant in Wakefield that got busted with seagull traps on the roof? That was back in the late 80's...I still laugh when I think of it.....that was one of the all-time Rhody classics...

seagull traps! yes, I know the story, and to top off the story the basement of the place was flooded with 2 feet of water and the whole staff was sleeping on pallets. Oddly enough, the new restaurant that took over the lease is now called 'THe Blue Bird"

Remember the Hill Street Blues episode where all the cops were using 50% off coupons at the new Indian resaurant next door . . . until they were asked to investigate a number of "dog-nappings"
