Gettin out for the first time this year!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone i am soooooo excited!!! Since i am only 14 i oviously cant just go to the cape or rhody or New Hampshire fishing by myself, but my grand parents own a house in New Hampshire down the street9 from the ocean and i am going up this sunday for a week or more! its gunna be great....fishin everyday, waking up to the sweet smell of the salt water. well i just thought i would let everyone know how excited i am. They have the internet up in NH so i will keep all you guys updated on my catches.

Good luck Anthony. For up there right now , think mackeral. Chunks or mackeral plugs.

thanks for the advice saltheart, what about herring? this time last year i was haulin' them in on herring chunks. or should i just stick to macs and mac colored plugs?

If you have them , give the herring a try. If you have to buy bait for chunking , I'd buy Mackeral.

Anthony good luck, and have fun. I agree with saltheart, I caught a 42" 25lb and a 44" 30lb on a blue mackeral colored rapala. However if I had herring I would try it too. Last week fisherwoman said they got nothing on mackeral and did well on herring. This was also confirmed by the guy I fished with when I caught my fish a couple of weeks ago. He said last week he caught nothing with mackeral, and did well with herring.
