crunchy or soft?

I've caught some pretty big ones on really soft pogie chunks and fished crunchy fresh ones sometimes without a bite. Crunchy ones stay on the hook better but the soft ones give off more "juice".

you have to get them just right. just between crunchy and soft. just enough juice but not too much.

kind of like a cross between a twix bar and a reeses peanut butter cup.

it means you have to have a state of the art cooler to be able to keep them just so.

You must have one of them, don't you ?

I know what your talking about .."Crunchys".. When you cut them they crunch ,,fresh .. You gotta taste them.. think of it as suchi .. when you get a flavor that catches go around to all the bait shops till you get the ones that taste like that again .. works for me ,,
