Bass Reports

Is it me or what? I just received my daily update from Dave at Baymens tackle in Plymouth. It reported a keeper off of a Marshfield jetty with reports of fish racing in and out of Green Harbor and some 20" fish off Powder Point bridge. Now I saw a bunch of guys fishing this weekend from Cotuit to Fairhaven and not one fish. Did they pass us by and snub our herring or are we all just crappy fisherman? Or is he trying to make up for a slow winter?

Could be holdovers jumping out of local spots. In years past decent keepers have been caught by this time. For example, Brad "Hawg Hunter" had a decent keeper out of Wareham by this time several springs ago.

Occasional keepers have been caught in the Thames and at the Toilet for a little while now and in some cases most of the winter.

I can't report on MA. locations but I can tell you I was out Monday with two friends in R.I. and we managed to land 32 schoolies in just about three hours. Surface temp was a little over 50 degrees and the bite would turn off/on like a switch. Probably holdovers jumping out of local spots as JohnR indicated in the previous post.
I don't post often, but when I saw a thread related to bass/fishing/report, I figured what the hell.
