I've got about 7 so far, and haven't landed any yet, although I did score a sea robin in the weewee river...

23 half hearted casts. Usually don't start until around May 15th though, so this is more of spring training. Get the little things out of the way, liking breaking in the new waders, getting used to holding the rod again, eating one meal a day, sleeping 4 hours a day.
But with all these reports of people gettin fish, it is getting me motivated.

went out lastnight for the first time...i got nutin, the hubster got one bass, nice lil guy he was..but he went back to grow up some more...
going out tonight again...hopefully to get sumtin...
got a nice light show though, standing on the jetty fishing the lighting was just a rollin through the sky...it was absolutly beautiful, i was just happy to get out there and get a line wet along with getting a lil wet ourselves from the rain and the waves crashing the jetty....
i get so much enjoyment out of fishing, even when i dont get nutin....the peacefullness of the ocean and the light winds....ahhhhhh shear bliss
now wheres da BASS...i wanna hear my drag scream
