Striped-bass.com t-shirts
I got to John R. last light for the 1st time and talked a while with him.
He asked me at one point if I knew of the site (the hull truth)
I kind of laughed a bit and opened my jacket to show him I was wearing a Hulltruth t-shirt
That got me to thinking if there are or could be striped-bass.com t-shirts to buy or or get by making a donation to his site.
I'm not sure if there is a logo for this site, but I would bet someone could come up with a cool one, Maybe even have some kind of contest to come up with the best design for one!
Any oppinions ?
Ron

Hmmm - do we have a S-B Shirt design competition? People can make suggestions (if lacking artistic talent) and those that can do a little damage with a pen can put something "graphic" together

Don, keep an eye on that hat - it's a collectible!
I wouldn't wear it to the Rhody Leg if I was you....

Well as before it has gone no where!! This is a bad time to get it going now with everyone starting there fishing.
This needs to be a winter thing and there has to be a good amount of persons wanting to do it.
Not like the big hat deal!! Auction one off, and a few went around to a few, and then disapear??
John needs to get serious about a line of stuff he thinks will sell, and then see if there is anough intrest?? Then do a online store for SB stuff.
But there is a big cost to get it up and running and if the intrest is not there then it will be a wasted deal!!
But with over 2000 members I got to think a bumper sticker at least would be good so we can reconize each other cars & trucks so we can say Hello.
"Beep if you are a SB member"
Beep Beep!!

I think the major problem to the "S-B Hat" is the question of who will stock it, pay for the inventory and be able to take orders and ship it. I own a manufacturing and distribution business in CT (that has nothing to do with apparel at all). I would be willing to consider the project. Shipping would be easy, I get a UPS pickup every day. I'm not sure about where to have hats made, etc. And I wouldn't do this for the $$. I think that a buck or so over cost would cover packaging, etc. Lemme know...
