South Side Offshore Action

[Fish On]

I've been keeping an eye on the surface temps, but I'm discouraged that it doesn't look like they'll be any warm water down there anytime soon. Any of you guys that fish the dump or the surrounding areas bwetween Nantucket and Long Island hear of any action down there? Any reports of school bluefin hitting trolling spreads?

I guess if there are fluke I could make a trip anyway and have that be my fallback plan. Certainly the bluefish and stripers will be around for some action as well.

I know a couple of guys who have been out. No bluefins but lots of blue sharks if they interest you.

I'm in the monster shark tourney in July so that's good to hear.

If anyone is ever looking for a fishing partner to hit the schoolie bluefins or even some sharks. I would be happy to pay gas, buy the beverages whatever for the day.

I am willing to take week days off from work, and I am available every weekend.
