Didn't want to hijack Van's thread

I've got a few pics of my days out with my daughter last week. She was off in between school and summer camp and my wife took her to six flags and the mystic acquarium... I took her fishing two days and for ice cream. Spoiled kid.

We fished bait early than pounded the rocks with plastics and flies after the bait was gone. We did pretty well.

There's some dispute over who caught these fish...

The first was Brit totally solo.

These next two were a mix. I hooked, Brit battled some and I closed the deal. This was our biggest of the season so far.

And the fattest of the year... 35" and 17 1/2lbs. on the digital. A future hawg, this fish was thick. The prev fish was a bit over 18lbs.

Brittany can hang in there. We were out on the water for almost 10 hours on both days. We'll go thru a couple scrapes during the trip, but at the end of the day, we both had a good time.

She loves catchin herring and pollock. She loves seein' wildlife. She brings some toys and plenty of snacks. And she battles these fish.

AWESOME !!!!

Man shes getting big, the last time I saw her (03' MSBA show) she told me how she just got her hair cut. Of course I said it looked spectacular !!!!!!!

Cute kid, enjoy cause my daughter (now 18) doesn't want any part of fishing anymore, she'd rather be out with her boyfriend....

Hope to see you out there this year.

I will enjoy it for now... with 3 girls, I guess I have to live the fact that they may not stick with it later on. But maybe i'll get lucky. If I keep it fun that's really all I can do.

Definitely wanted a boy and when our twins were first diagnosed as fraternal, I was like sweet... 66.7% chance of at least one boy.

Of course, they are indentical girls and I'm done... at least in this marriage. Maybe
in my next marriage I'll have another kid and have a boy

Well congrats my friend. Those are going to be some fantastic memories you and your daughter will have forever. Looks like you two did very good. Keep up the good work
