Happy Fourth & Weekend Plans!!!
This is the classic American holiday weekend, Family, Freinds, Fireworks, and Food ('cept for those of us on diets ). Please have a safe and happy weekend, and importantly, remember this weekend as a celebration for who we are, a celebration for the greatest nation on earth, thanks for our forfathers and their intestinal fortitude to create the underpinnings of this great country, and for prayer and support for our guys & gals in the service of our country, home and abroad!
What's up for the L O N G W E E K E N D ??
I gotta get fishing one or two days - will see if wifey lets me
What's up for the weekend??

Going to the canal early today. Fish until the legs give out. Tomorrow , barbecue. Not sure when I will attempt to see fireworks. Been out of touch 2 weeks in Mexico so not sure what's happening.
last year I went on the Viking canal boat to watch the fireworks. had a great time. i recommend it. leaves from Onset.

Spend some time on the beach with the family. I hope to get in some fishing Saturday night. There is something I've wanted to try for a few years and the timing of the tide looks perfect. I'll let you know how it goes.
The wind is looking to be S or SW so lets hope for the best
Happy 4th everyone!

Tonight - Fishing with my five year old son and maybe a trip to DQ
Tomorrow - Sleep late and hang out at the beach all day with the family
Tomorrow night - Build the biggest, badest bonfire on Humarock beach followed by fireworks and large qualities of alcohol and whatever else happens to stroll down the beach.
Sunday - Sleep late and nurse my headache followed by another day with the family at the beach house
Monday - Fish beware, I coming after you with a vengeance!

Yup, Ben, I'm with you - I have every intention on going on a 3 day all-species fish bender. I will let ya know how my gazoongas are on Tuesday
Actually, I started off with Maddog2020 last nite at a favorite spot and we came back with dinner for eight - he's staying at our B&B with the mrs. and his little girl. We had a good time last nite even with the full moon
Lessee...tonite...fishing.
Tomorrow AM.....fishing.
Tomorrow nite....more eels, more fishing.
Etc, etc.....Mrs Crafty told me yesterday that she doesn't care if I fish every day of the holiday - boy, did she say that to the wrong person.
On the menu, striped bass for din-din tonite, steaks maybe tomorrow, barbeque ribs on the grill Sunday with a rum-spiked watermelon for desert....Monday, ah, I haven't gotten that far yet
Oh brother, Tuesday is gonna be sheer hell.

VACATION !!!!! Long time coming
Wish I knew the Abington fireworks were tonight, they are the best around. Probably a total mob scene on 18 right now.
Maybe see if I can score a ticket to God this weekend.
Fishing will be done during the week, in between Water Whiz and Spiderman 2 etc. with the kids.
