Thumbs up I was wondering....

if you knew that was me! You blew by us as we were leaving the beach and I thought, Hmmm, if I really try hard, maybe I can catch up to the Petrel and wave hello!

It was good to see you out there, the boat looked incredible BTW!

There sure was a lot of boats out there racing around from here and there, wasn't there?!?!

Steve

My poor wife, we had to run headlong into the rising SW wind and even though it is a good ride in the SC, she can do without!

Without being too specific, were you in or out? We started south and went north, outside of the gaggle of boats....

I started about 500' out of the old cut an went to the gaggle of boats,,but stopped short of them on the south end of that boat yard,,,about 3/4-1 mile....in the past when you see that gob of boats,,fish the outside of them...fish get driven out an most times will be just sitting on the surface slurpin sandeels,,,

BOAT fish do count.

Well, good

i don't feel so bad, at least I didn't start a war or anything!

Steve-

What's the story with that big commercial boat on the beach around the corner? Looks like a gillnetter outta Gloucester tried to run the cut and the cut won....

nothin can get in the cut anymore.
I'd say either insurance...mate fell asleep at the wheel. that was the first I knew about it. once a year one goes aground there, and it's always on a full moon, that's why she's high up on the bank...I like it having it there,,,no need for the gps to find the cut.
