Your fault for even having it while fishing....I hate to be bothered when I am fishing by phone!
Next time keep it in a ziplock bag at home or in the car.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

ITs the only way my pregnant wife will let me out of her site... I gotta have it on me at all times incase something happens...
trust me.. if I could get away with it, i wouldnt even own one... 50 to 75 bucks a month could be used somewhere else... like for buying plug bulding stuff

Sorry Eben...a valid reason given the circumstances! Please forgive me. I suggest perhaps you buy a lanyard for your cell phone?

Eben, Joe (Pt. Jude Joe) has a great waterproof cell phone case that's good to 100' - you oughta PM him to see where he got it - it's like $25 and really well made -

BigFish...
Thats what they call a grip on the short curlies
But to make E feel better about losing his phone and soon to be non-existant fishing time
My best lost cell phone story;
After work on the tour boat (m/v Viking Queen) we locked the keys behind the bar... now being the slick guy that I am, I walked along the 3" steel rub rail holding on by my outstretched fingertips... as I inched along, I lost my footing, and in I went.... In front of 30 people who had just gotten off the boat, 20 of whom I knew as it was a party that a friend of the family had thrown... talk about taking some chit for it... Cell Phone was of course in my pocket... what a dumb-bass....
May be on to a new phone soon, my current phone doesnt ring, I just get calls, apparently it's stuck in silent mode.... sucks but at least it's still dry
