Chatham

My wife has a friend who lives in Chatham and we're going up there for the weekend. We're actually camping at Nickerson State Park. If the weather is right we might try to hit Monomoy on his boat. How's the fishing been there? Anybody from around the elbow? He says the fishing has been good for him with lots of bass in the 15# range. How's the fluking there this time of year? I might try to bring some homemade fluke killer rigs.

We've been getting bass up to 24# pretty much every trip (see "Boat fish DO count" and "Monomoy" threads). I'm still looking around for good fluke spots in the area

I second that

either poke around east of the light and look for marks on your machine, look for birds, or head south to the the rips... they will be there.
