I lost my gear bag...

I lost a black Ugly Stik tackle bag last night down at the trestle on the Hampton Marsh. I mustve left it on the ground when I was loading my gear into the car. Somehow I managed not to see it sitting there when I was doing my 6 point turn to leave. This sucks.

If anyone found it, or knows of anyone who found it, could you please contact me? I can tell you everything that was in it.

I will probably never see it again, but just wanted to try. Thanks.

it is prolly worth a call to the police station, maybe a cop picked it up or someone turned it in. i left my bag down at the narrow river in Ri, went to fish near providence and realized i left my bad behind, i flew back to the narropw river and there was a cop going threw my bag, always there when ya need em right.

Everything is better on the rocks.

Sorry to hear it Johnny.

Because I'm sure that one day it'll be me, I write my name, address and phone # in indelible ink on the inside of bag cover.

It would be worth a shot to check with the nearest tackle shop... I know around here on the lower cape, a few items have been recovered that way. Most of them have bulletin boards, put up a note, you might have luck.

Well I called the police station, and nothing. But they took my name & number in case something is brought in. Theres no chance a cop wouldve found my bag, they never go down to this spot. Its a long access road (trail) following the no longer used railroad tracks and trestle. I was hoping maybe someone found it the next morning, and they would be honest and have a conscience. I figured maybe the people fishing in the morning werent like the dopes you get down there in the afternoons/evenings lol.

I'll call up Pete at Defiant Lobster and Tackle and see if anyone dropped it off. Thats the local place.

I'm really hoping karma comes into play here......I've already found and returned a wallet and a bait knife to people this Summer.
