Probably only be good until tomorrow night, unless you like fishing in a monsoon.

goosefish, find places other than the rocks that make up white water , bars, points etc. There were tons of fish this morning, bass and blues, the bite went from 3 - 6 am.
These waves push the bait right on shore.
I knew it would be good

Since Thurs/Fri. 3 midnight to 4AM trips.Over 60 fish between 10 and 25 lbs. The big girls have been out in Southern RI. 5 Bluefish mixed in 10 to 13 lbs. It doesn't get any better than this and all on needles and/or teasers.

No Stripers, but we found baitfish in the early evening working between the mouth of Zeek's Creek and Dutch Island (just south of the Jamestown Bridge). Nice Bluefish (from 7-11 lbs).
Earlier in the week the baitfish were a little further south, down around Narragansett Beach. The rollers probably pushed the baitfish up into the bay.
If the weather clears (and the bay settles) later today, I'll try and round em up again.
