aquaskinz advice

Remembering how cold and wet I ended up last fall, I’m thinking about taking the aquaskinz plunge. I’m just looking for some feedback about the hurricane dry top, basically how warm it is and how restrictive it is, and how it would compare with the evo2 (which I wish they made in black) with more layering underneath. Also, any suggestions on other brands, if there is anything comparable, would be welcome. Thanks for any input. - Josh

As far as the Aquaskinz go, you can go 2 ways:

1) Evolution with fleece top. This is fine in Spring, Summer and early Fall.

2) Hurricane for any time after late September, depending on where you are.

Which ever option you choose, TRY ONE ON IN THE STORE before you buy.

I fished last October and November with the hurricane and loved it. Forget about packing on clothes under a surf jacket. A T shirt was all I had on and I was nice, warm and comfortable.

They are the best jackets money can buy.
