East Beach Rhody

Morning Everyone,

I've fished the Charlestown Beach side of the Breachway numerous times, but I figured I try East Beach tonight even though I have to work tomorrow (who says you have to be conscious at work). It seems that it's a bit less crowded there. Anyway, I was planning on tossing snakes on one rod and chucks on another. I've used squid in the past and done well. You guys have any other suggestions? Clams?...Macs?...Worms?

Thanks all,

Hotshot

You need a RI State 4x4 oversand permit to get to the other side.... if you get caught driving down the backtrack without a permit i think its a $500 fine....

IMO the side you already fish is the beter side anyway.

Damn...thanks Eben. I often fish from the beach rather than the Breachway because I'm not too familiar with the whole procedure. Do you think it'll be crowded tonight?

I suggest you keep an eye on the bait rod....I had one pulled from the spike while fishing East Beach.
I was slinging eels with one rod and bait fishing with the other - that was the last time I did that.
