This post begs the question, Why hasn't anyone ever come up with a stroller design with beach tires and rod holders? With a little ingenuity it could probably be outfitted with a small cooler rack off the front and modified underneath for tackle, spare diapers, wipes, etc. And you wouldn't be lying if you said, "Honey you rest, I'm going to take the baby out for some fresh air."

News flash, dated Sept. 30, 2004

Today an alien abduction occurred just outside the Glass Station in Wakefield, RI. Missing is the owner of the establishment, Mr. Eben. Witnesses at the corner of the establishment described a silver like flash of light departing the parking lot and then heard what seemed to be a scream of joy and strange laughter. A message was left behind, which indicated that Mr. Eben was taken to the planet of BLOCK for research in human conditioning. Here Mr. Eben would be forced to stand for many sleepless hours on large rocks while performing a strange repetitive and complex motion with his arms and hands. After 3 days of such observations, Mr. Eben would be returned to his place of work.

Ya think she will buy it

<In my best Eddie Haskell voice>

"Say, Woodi, that's a lovely outfit you're wearing - I can't believe you still look fresh as a daisy.

Do you think we could take Eben out for a little while so he can fish some more.....

No, you're right....he does have some things to take care of at home...."

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
