Forfiets?
seems the devils rays may not be able to get to ny in time for doubleheader today due to hurricane. they were told to leave friday but didn't, choosing to stay with families. selig says they will have to forfiet both games if they don't make it, WTF? games of this importance should be made up. hopefully selig stands up and does the right thing.

nah! no such thing, just a figment of some ny fans imagination! even if there WAS it was lifted last week when some kid living in babes old home was hit in the mouth with a foul ball!

Double header was rained out today. The Yanks may have to play a split doubleheader at the Stadium 9/23. First game vs.Toronto,
second vs. Tampa Bay.
BF- has that happened before?

I would have to say no, that has never been done.....a split doubleheader with crosstown rivals switching stadiums has been done but not in one stadium against two different teams!  |

They don't have a common off-day, and 9/23 is the only off-day TB has while the Yanks are home.
Another nail in the Yank coffin.
