Got my two biggest fish on the fly rod the other day....A couple nice 7 pound blues! Man that felt great. Also had one almost take me to the backing for the first time....But that one got off

Sure was a great day! I was switching off between to fly rod and the spinner most of the evening. Why is it that when i switch to the fly rod the smaller fish come in! Got some big boys on the spinning rod though and still some decent on the fly. Saw some stripers mixed in also. I'll be back there in the AM to see whats cooking
