I did good. All on bait though, alot of throw backs but I got my 2 and so did 3 others that went out as well. Learned that after you get the 2 you want to keep... it's time to stop fishing. But I figured I can have some fun with catch and release... but when I had to throw back a 44" fish because I already had a 39 and 38 It wasn't fun anymore .

Caught a boatload of schoolies this morning and one for the grille, then covered miles of water looking for albies and never even saw a single bird working. Beautiful morning thou and I cruised from Westport to Sakonet, back to Westport and then even out to Cuttyhunk. Fished the southern end of the island and saw rat schoolies everywhere, but they wouldn't hit a thing, but man what a clear day. I could have cruised to the Vineyard and beyond, you could even see Nantucket in the distance.

Killin' em'
Within the last week, the harbor has become jam packed with bait. Quincy bay is loaded too. Follow the birds, they are on top of the schoolies and blues. Bigger fish lurk below. 2 oz crippled herring with the single hook in blue or brown have been working great. Hope this helps..... Hey bigfish, better post by me???
