Damn, I think I need to go on a diet!

Here is one of Mike!
Have others but they ended up in video form for some strange reason( like my fingers I guess?)

I think we should start calling Mike........" Captain Freak" from now on! He sure can put you on fish! From codfish to sharks to the many bass we caught on Monday night( and the 3 bluefish........)
He definitely has his _hit together! '

Oh did I mention he paints a mean plug too!! Well you all knew that already!

huge rollers comming in, outside was not nice.
we lucked out gettin' the bait quick outside. so the 1/2 hour or so we were out there wasn't too bad.
tons of bass though, couldn't keep the bait down for more than 5 secondstwo at a time almost every drift
lots of peanuts, tinker macks and tinker herring arround the boat slips too.

I think I know that spot.....and missed my chance at getting out there. Damn work....I hate how it interferes with fishing all of the time.

good job... I feel like I haven't fished local much lately... a trip to westport, a weekend on nantucket... no boat fishing over labor day...

oh well, I'll be out alot over the next couple weeks... taking two weeks off to do nothing but fish.

starts right about now.

there out there for sure!

i took iwannanotherkeeper out last night. we got about 8 or 9 keepers in the dark.
fishing was slow on dead high slack tide, but once the water started moving we were into pretty decent action.

It was a good time had by all. I think it was 6 or 7 keepers and only 2 shorts.

Nice seeing you guys last night. Thanks for the bait. I put 6 fish in the boat after you moved out - all shorts - oh well better than riding the couch. I was dragging them up and down the shoreline. Be careful Mike all the shore guys might be buying boats!

You've heard of penis envy, well it's boat envy and if my boat sells before this fall run is over I'll have a big case of it for sure. I'm hoping to get in a couple of days over this weekend.

Boat fish ?
Do they count or dont they??

Well the way I fished with Freak I think they count!

7' St Croix freshwater pitchin' stick with a 6500 abu.

Now if we were using heavy action live bait sticks and big Penn conventionals I would agree they wouldnt count!

Mike they will count on Monday too wont they!!

Russ - I was using a 7ft Cortland fresh bait conventional stick with an abu 6500 as well. Even the little guy I caught stripped line and put up a good fight.
