VMC 9626 Treble Hooks
Is anybody aware of any tackle shops/stores in the RI/SE Mass area that sell VMC 9626 4X treble hooks and/or VMC Siwash single hooks?
Thanks.

Siwash Replacements
While we are on this topic, can someone suggest what size VMC siwash would be good to replace the trebles on a broad spectrum of plugs? In other words, what sizes should I order for all my plugs(from Bombers to large Gibbs Needles and swimmers)? Are the size designations the same as other hooks? eg 5/0, 6/0. etc
Thanks!

Unfortunately it's been a while since VMC made the 6/0 Siwash. I say unfortunately because I'm starting to have a collection of straightened 5/0's...
As long as you're not pulling real hard on the 5/0 though it should serve you well for a treble replacement. With Siwash I think the straightening occurs when the hook doesn't go completely home. If the fish hangs somewhere above the barb, you're f'd. The leverage from that long point just opens the hook right up.
We do have almost every saltwater related size of 9626PS treble in stock as well as Siwash from 3/0 to 5/0. And the extra heavy split rings to go with them.

I know for bombers, 2/0 trebles in the front and 1/0 in the back would work..not sure about the others..I think BM would know..
