Another silly Outlook problem

I use two outlook accounts, work and personal, work is listed everywhere as the default account, yet when it begin a brand new message(ctrl-n or pulldown to new message) it always sends the new message through my personal e-mail account which happens to be linked to my ISP. What's going on here?

you have to select one of the accounts as your default.
look under Tools...Accounts
one will be marked (default)

that is the one mail tries to leave as.

There is a fine line that seperates a fisherman from a fool standing in water swinging a stick.

That's what's killing me Mike, I have my work email set as the default and it still begins new emails with the other account unless I choose the work email from the pull down.

Thanks though

You should really seperate you e-mail into two profiles - one for work, one for the important stuff. Then you keep them totally seperate...

Use your outlook for work, and use a freeware GUI mail reader like Thunderbird from Mozilla.org or Pegasus for your personal emails... kinda nice seperating the clients cuz its more hassle than its worth trying to configure outlook.
