Hey I have been fishing in Southport harbor in Fairfield CT but have not had much luck on eels. Any suggestions?

Or Rhode Island.

Pennfield Reef is a nice place to fish.

But honestly, I don't think the Western Sound really heats up until November.

Unless you want to nail bloofish...
