Backbeach Jake Slays On Home Made Wood!
For about an hour and a half last night I watched helplessly as Backbeach Jake hammered fish on one of his Danny-type plugs! He had 10 fish high and dry before I landed my first......he also landed a sweet 30 pounder (his largest bass to date and on his own wood). BBJ released the fish unharmed and later kicked himself in the butt for doing so! Great night Fred, thanks for coming out with me and for letting me watch you put on a clinic! Thanks for the plug also!
Sure beat watchin' the Sox get beat....right Fred?

That was the best night of fishing that I ever had! That little pot-bellied danny fooled a lot of bass fast. All black just a hint of glitter, nicknamed "Chubby". When I released the 30, the fish were coming so hard and fast and healthy, I was positive that a bigger one was coming. I already had one for the table. A bigger one did come along but not for me. I'll be laughing that one off for a while. Great night and great company!

You deserve it man. You practically live on those beaches. All the good karma is coming back to you for your gratutious nature with your plugs. Wish I was there. Congrats!!!!

One of the highlights of my season Fred, watching you beach those fish at a frantic pace! I think I enjoyed watching you almost as much as you enjoyed catching them! If anyone deserves good karma Fred, its you!

So this must mean you will have even more good karma from the fish gods if you make me a replica of the "Chubby".
