see what happens when you get a 9'er rig, and 300' of braid wrapped up in the rudder.

Nahh, wasn't Ted - he's a good sailor, just a lousy driver.

It was Patrick Kennedy - he's a lousy sailor in addition to being a lousy frequent flyer

Was there a while after they went aground. They were out 2 weeks ago during that NE blow. Engine failed in the Gut. Coast Guard was picking them up at the Peddocks dock when I pulled up.
Boat was OK at that point - but guess with night coming and the seas, nobody was going attempt to pull it at high tide.
Too bad, but WTF were they doing out there with that blow anyhow????

I saw Beetle and the boat, not too long after the coast guard picked up the passengers.

The last 3 blows that came thru have deposited boats at my doorstep...and I could see that one at the gut from my morning coffee perch...str8 across from the gut before you make the turn in the channel to go under the bridge..

Used hard and put away dirty....
