BreakAway rods done?

I spoke with MikeCC after the trade show he attended and yes he said factory Breakaway rods are finished. Shakespeare has no intention of continueing them.

What about Blanks? - Yes they will still be made.

Mike bought all inventory of factory rods. NO CONVENTIONAL only spin.

He had some other trade show tid bits. New lures etc....

Better off with a custom on the same Allstar blanks. More fishable handle lengths and better guide placement and selection on a custom . The Breakaways were excellent factory rods , one of the best but its the blanks that made them so IMO.

Question Country of Manufacture or Design?

Nice Mike...what country did they originate in?

I`ll be over when the Allstars go on sale if not sooner.

Good job!

Mike:

Are you gonna have any blow out sales on the blanks?

I just luckily happenend in on one of the sales last year.

What is the best way for me to know when you are going to have one?

Many thanks!

Looks like I'll have to get one of them 10' things also !!!!! Now all I have to do is talk da kid out of a reel. He has plenty. O......wait......he has a baby coming any day now so he won't need his rods and reels for a few years.
