Does anyone fish during these bleak winter months?
I'm itching to do some fishing, and was wondering if anyone was going out this time out year. I know the Yankee Capts aren't fishing anymore and figured someone here may know. I figure in a few months it will be warm enough to head out with Bill & Jules, but til then... what to do what to do...

I'm hoping for a thaw, but I've caught in January to keep my streak alive, as striper a month for the past 4 years or more. These past 2 years it's even been a keeper a month streak, but I need some help from mother nature, so I can get out in February.

I have been known to take a light tackle rod and a few specific baits to a certain place for either sea run browns trout or holdover stripers.
