Items added to website.

Just to let every one know we have added over 500 items to the site over the past 2 weeks, and will be adding a few hundred more in the next week or so.

http://www.capecodtackle.com/Merchan...ore_Code=cct01

We are really stocking up for the spring most of our shipments are due in by the 20th. We look forward to filling all your fishing needs.

Now if I could only figure how to sell eels from the site.

Thanks everyone for your support.

About selling eels.....

Wouldnt it be cool if a tackle shop had a locker outside of the shop with changable nightly lock codes. When a person orders online they get a confirmation with the locker number and the security code. The owner of the shop will load the eels in a non removable container and confirm the lock code making sure it will work. Then the fisherman can pick up the eels before they go fishing and not have to get eels the night before. The only problem would be keeping the eels alive..I guess the locker would have to be cooled somehow.

Or they could go to the eel joint by the canal that is open 24/7...DOH!

What eel joint by the ditch is open 24 hours? There was a place that used to be open 24 hours but he is usually closed when i go past it. If its going to be a late trip for me i have to buy me eels in sturbridge they are nasty looking and usually bout 10 inches long, and a buck fifty a pop.

Everything is better on the rocks.

There is a shop in SoCo RI that already does this I think. Weekapaug B&T.

If you are talking Bub's Bait by the canal. He will be out of business on 4/1 the owners sold the building and will not renew his lease. Bob is a good is good peolpe .
I have been talking to him about a buy out.

The SSC3 a power handle will fit. I have them instock. The next thing I am doing is the Reel Parts on line.

On Lure making supplies. I do not want to make into a selling event just want to learn and meet a few people.I'll bring some stuff but leave it in the car.
If you need something PM me and I'll bring it.

It was a few years ago but when I was fishing Montauk there was a shop who had a vending machine that despensed live bait (eels). It looked like a coke machine. At 2:00am sometimes there would be a line at the machine.

BTW MikeCC...are you open this weekend?

Now that's a crying shame. Is he relocating or quitting the business completely?

Bob was trying to sell but with no location a person would be a fool to buy it.
so it looks like he will close down.

My father tryed to do that machine over 20 years ago we found out the tempature vairation was to much and kelled or weakened a lot of bait.tempature for bait must remain 45-52 dig. those machines dip down to 38dig

Budds is going out of business ? Thats too bad, Bob and Chris had a nice shop there. Oh well, First stop and Macos. Maybe they will stay open 24/7 in season.
