April Saltwater Sportsman!
Striper, striper, striper! This issue is chock full o' surf and striper related goodies! One article focuses on potential spots where "The Record" might fall. Also has Crazy Al touting his love of the Gibbs casting swimmers and mention by Iron Mike of the great Habs needle. Great issue....pick it up! Nice to see Saltwater Sportsman returning some of the magazine to the surf guys instead of overloading on the tired boat scene. Brings the magazine back to the old standards.

Yeah I saw that. Hab's is going international. And you thought they were hard to find before.

Best issue in a long, long time. I was going to let my sub run out, but if they keep this up I may have to continue it. I was just telling some people the other day that if they don't get it, they should go to the newstand and pick up this copy at least.

I just went to the web site and ordered three issues for free. No strings attached. Gave them only my name and address.
Unfortunately, gotta wait 4-6 weeks for the first one to show up, so it looks like I'll have to pick up this months issue.

It's about time the magazine became more down to earth and featured realistic spots to fish, not places that cost $5k to get to. The surfcasting column is a step in the right direction, keep it up!

It's been sitting on the table since it came in the mail. I had no idea, since it had a paper cover over it. Thanks Big Fish thats a kick butt issue. Hope they keep it up.

Good Articles on Bass Fishing except Lou Tabory's article on fishing the Herring run. Although in the box on catching your bait he did mention to check local regs no where in the main article did he mention the closure on using herring in Ct and the restrictions in other states
