i just tried it. it takes a long time to harden and its not as hard as epoxy. Also, the fumes could kill an elephant.

I don't know about the stuff on the left but it looks like it may have promise. The Pelucid is highly toxic stuff, Dave did some plugs with it and it's not hard, kinda soft and the hooks can stick in it, maybe the temp. wasn't right when they were done or that's just how it is. I am not impressed with that stuff.
The stuff on the left says it's for metals, so you'd have to try it out to see the adhesion qualities on wood and paint I guess.

I talked to their chemist last year, he said it would work fine. I haven't used it myself, but I know people who have. When mixed properly, and it does take some experimentation to mix properly, it's a lot harder than epoxy. The fumes are tough and the explosion hazard is also a fun little game to play too. Anything that is thinned with Xylene has a low and volatile flash point. Respirators and very adequate ventilation is a must. No basements and no sources of extreme heat or flame should be nearby. Othere than that it works very well, as a matter of fact I have a plug right next to me done with Glisten, nice stuff.
