After months of nothing, I finally got something done before all the snow is gone. All were turned on the drill press from round stock.
Did 16 of the small needles. 6" long and around 1.25 ounces. Took me a while to get the weighting right, but I eventually just copied the pics from Slip's tiger maple thread and they behaved perfectly
The stubby prototype is 5-3/4" long and just under 3 ounces. It's AYC and packed with lead. Casts like a mother but floats/really slow sink at a 45deg angle just under the water. Leaves a wake like a powerboat...I can't wait to see how this thing fishes
