Another Newbie
A colleague brought in a couple issues of The Fisherman about a month ago and showed me the articles on plug making. I headed straight to the internet and found this and another board. Guess what. I'm hooked (pun intended). I appreciate all the helpful advice given so freely on this site. Hopefully I will be in your league some day and able to help others like you have helped so many. Now If I can get my pictures posted, you will see how hard I've fallen!
Thanks again!

Thanks all. The shrooms are one piece with a natural edge left on the cap. I haven't figured out how to weight and hook them so they don't roll, but someone on this site will probably have some ideas!

Yes CaptainQ I made the duck calls. You can find good help at missmallard.com I must warn you, however, making duck calls is nearly as addictive as making plugs. HP

Thanks for all the nice responses. Canalman, your articles were great. I'm sure I won't be the only person drawn into this addiction by your articles.
