HD Hook cutters...what do you like?

I like to keep a pair of heavy duty cutters on board for cutting a hook in an emergency. Not something I use every day but something that can really cut a decent size forged hook. (Not a Giant Tuna hook, but say an 8/0 or 9/0 forged hook)

High-seas makes a hook cutter that does the job (but it is not really well made (South Korea)) . I just returned it because it doesn't latch closed correctly. I might get another or find a better unit. What do you guys like?

i have a pair of snap on hand held bolt cutters about 50 bucks. cuts like a dream. the craftsman ones work good too.

i had to rescue my buddy from a fiesty bass last year with them. he got two trebles past the barbs in his palm.with the bass still flopping arround.

like they say,
the front hook is for bass, the rear hook is for bluefish and the middle hook is for your hand.
