Weekend Plans?
IT AIN'T OVER - Who is still fishing? People are still getting fish in Rhody but they need to work at it and this weather has been too dang good to hang it up!!! (I haven't "hung it up" yet but I haven't been out in a few weeks either ....
Spending this weekend doing the family things but I think I'm getting sick next week some day to do some fishin'
What are YOU doing?

Gonna give Rhody a try tomorrow. Was toying with the idea of taking up GS on his invite, but with the way I've been bringing the skunk onto people lately (Right, Arby? ), I decided I'd be better off solo. Seems that's the only time I catch fish of late.
Have fun, and will let you know how I make out.

I am going to use this opportunity to catch up on a few projects without my tools growing legs and running away on me.......
Fishing is possible, but most likely some FW at the bottom of the hill...
Now we're sanding all the kitchen cabinet doors for a refinish late next week.

Let me think, hmmmm, well duh. I've got one, maybe two non-striped bass guys coming. Well Drew is actually a lurker on our board, someone I met through the bronzeback board and wev'e fished several times together. He assumed, not by choice, his dad's nightmare of a real estate business after his dad's health failed. I figure he's close to a breakdown and needed to get out. The other possible is a pro staffer for Yamimato Baits and is from NY. He has met me at the Thames a couple of times before and he usually brings me Senko's, love free samples . Hope to see others down there, because you will catch some schoolies. I'm shooting for 7-8 arrival, as is the Schoolie Monster.

A little Chrstmas shopping today with the lady and a little picking up stuff in the yard getting stuff buttoned down for the winter. Smokey helped me move some stuff around in my craft shop last night. Place is very roomy now and I can get at the sliding glass door to get some fresh air. Want to finish one rod with its last coat and start a new Lami GSH961M for Smokey with a fancy decorative pattern.

Just got done boning out 2 deer. Bringing them down to the butcher, he makes keilbasa and hangs in the smokehouse for a week. Comes out great. Bringing about 70 lbs down. tomorrow going tp R.I. to go sea duck hunting again. Have to wait a few days for blackpowder season to start. Hopefully going to shoot a bunch of ducks tomorrow if weather is ok. Do any of you guys fish around the lighthouse at Sakonnet? I think about that when I'm sitting in the boat. Looks pretty nice around there.
