weymouth herring run

to nice out to do yard work all day ,so i grabbed my new baitcaster and thought id do some lowtide recon. and some more praticing with the new toy (getting a little beter only 1 small backlash today). on the way back stopped at the weymouth herring run . there are no more permits unless you have a chit from clean up day , and even worse there are no herring

I have been checking the run pretty religously - and I have only seen 1 very small school of fish. In one of the ladders or 6 fish were holding. It was not where you dip, so I couldn't even be certain they were herring.

Keep lines wet and tight in the pacific
