Bloocrab's posting scared me last night so I deleted it

my original post was that a huge owl attacked my fishing rod while fishing last night. I thought I was going to die. It either thought i was a tree, or it thought that it wanted to kill me. strangest thing i have ever had happen to me while fishing by a mile....

Funny you say that, 2 yrs. ago I was attacked by a Owl
we were fishing total darkness when I get a small mouth
on this fish did air time about ten times. when all of a sudden
this huge Owl comes flying out of the trees and swoops down
to grab the fish, the fish comes off and the Owl turns and
now we are looking eye to eye. I almost peed my pants.
this owls head was the size of mine and it's wings ant to be
over 4 feet and then just flew to the left and was gone
