I been putting one coat on learning how to work the stuff ,,,,, feeling more confiedent now { after wreckin about 20 ) but thats all the fun trial and error wanna put 2 coats on can anyone help me with how long i have to wait to apply the 2 coat. thanks .... also im in new jersey and was on some moss bunker tonight snaggin but no fish .........just lots of bait for my com, crab traps

i have hated etex since i started. now i take it all back. i finally made a spinner  they came out like glass, one coat. make a spinner, what a difference, dont be stubborn like me

this is what you do. prime it then epoxy it then paint it then epoxy it again make a bunch its much easier when you do 10 or 20 plugs at a time. the finish is better and you dont see the wood grain. here are 2 of my best catchers..

I put the second coat on the next day. I also don't use a spinner. I hang them and let them drip. the next day I hand the 180 degrees and let them drip again. If it's a popper, sometimes you'll be left with an epoxy-cicle if you don't stick around and wipe it off with an acid brush. E-tex is pretty easy to use, just don't touch the plug with unwashed hands, human oils, potato chip grease, and anything else will cause voids and "fish-eyes". Wash your hands religiously and watch what you spray in the shop and you'll get glass-like finishes.

hey thanks guys jake my finish is sweet just wanna put two coats maybe that will help on those jetties thanks though the second day second coat

black label im in seaside and fish the island (IBSP) when they open dover--lav-brick im al over u have a nice swimmer maybe we can swap a plug or 2 there is alot of bunker down the island

SURE PUT IN ABOUT 50HRS THIS WEEK ON THE JETTY LOTS OF BUNKER OUT OF CASTING RANGE , THE PODS ON THE PIER HAD NO FISH IN THEM ALL WEEK. 35 # ER CAUGHT ON JETTY LAST NIGHT. WE WILL HAVE TO TRADE
