Unhappy friggan cars

I'll tell ya....they suck sometimes

just laid out almost 1200 bucks fixing it (saturday)

for all new struts/ half shafts and it was still pulling to

the right....so i'm thinkin: not aligned very good

its going back....for an adjustment...

and on the way there........... i blow a brake line

in the rear ---pedals going to floor -no brakes!

so....here comes another repair bill

well at least it didnt happen to my sweet wife

in some precarious situation resulting in a car crash.

so maybe its a blessing in disguise...

i'll have to consider that way.

weird thing was the mechanic said it might happen

and it did just 2 days later....coincidence? or scam?

I totally Agree Cars do suck.....And you may want to look for another mechanic.

Not because I think he is scamming you.....But because he found something wrong w/ your break line and didn't insist on fixing it.

could have ended a lot worse

You driving a Buick? Thank God all turned out ok. Had my Park Ave. do that to me twice. It's no longer part of the Jake fleet.

gotta agree with tdf- the mechanic should have shown it to you and insisted on fixing it- brakes are fairly important.

Actually he did tell me that the brake lines were damp and or slightly corroded
but it being saturday ...it wasn't planned for repair that same day...so we thought in a week we'll address that issue....little did we know it was not far from all out break failure. i'm just thankful it was me who discovered the problem going slow....and not my wife finding out she couldnt stop while going fast.
