Thumbs up MikeCC's opperation is stand up...

A month or so back, mailed Mike a check for some work he was doing on a reel; I didnt hear from him for a week or so, and it turns out the check never turned up, so the following week, I was in Wareham so I stopped in, still no check, so I paid him, and left.

I get home yesterday and there is my voided check which had just arrived, and a note explaining the whole thing...

Good to see many people are still honest... Thanks Mike!!!

I was just at Mike's....my only complaint is that there should be free coffee and steamed hot dogs! Other than that Mike has the best B & T around!

Hi Mike!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Even more impressive...I had to leave this spring's plugfest early, gave Mike all my raffle tickets and asked him to hold any plugs if I won. He kept my prize needle hanging in his shop until I could stop by to pick it up.

Not ho'ing such a nice needle is serious selflessness in these parts

staltershoal, its real east to get to M&D's. Its bout 15 minutes from Red Top. He has a map on his site, capecodtackle. I used to be a loyal Red top customer, and i still go there for the convenience sometimes but would rather hit M&d. Cool guy who saved a days fishing for me when my Abu crapped out. He was the only shop within 50 miles that had the part, and fixed it in bout 3 minutes. And if you like pluggage his spot is the place to shop.

Everything is better on the rocks.

Forget Wal-Mart and RedTop....Mike has a nice, small, caring operation that caters to you....the fisherman...period! He is not just the owner, but a friend. Take your hard earned dollars into Mikes and spend them there where they are well spent and hard earned on the other end. Mike and his wife and daughter do all they can do to meet your needs and Mike goes above and beyond to see that you come back over and over!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

im becoming a loyal customers. also, his prices are better than other shops on cape cod.

mike, do u actually give out free hot dogs?

BigFish, I think that Swimmer was talking abt where he got his free hotdogs from the gas station next to Mike's shop? I don't think that Mike gives out free hot dogs.

Another story....

I placed an order on the site and made a note on the order that I would like to have it shipped before I went to MV for the weekend. Two days before the trip I get a call saying that there were problems with the order and that the items would never make it by the time I was going to MV. I was then asked if I wanted I could save the shipping and pick it up on the way down because M&Ds is on the way to Falmouth. I asked what time the store opened and they said 6:00 and was concerned about missing my ferry at 7:00. I get to the store at 5:30 getting ready to eat my breakfast and 10 mins later Mike shows up opening up early. There are some shops that would not even call and ship it late nevermind open early (not saying they opened for me but it was still nice) so Kudos to M&Ds!

as larry said, mike and his crew goes way above and beyond to take damned good care of his customers. i wish every merchant in all kinds of business were more like mike and family. if you're in the area stop in, if your not- go anyways it's worth the trip.
