Took my keeperless brother out this AM....

He got his first keeper... Just was glad it was just shy of 34" and of legal size as it swallowed a gibbs polaris popper... the rear trebles were impaled in it's throat and the belly ones were in the gills. Would have sucked to toss back a dead fish... What a warrior... good tug of war it put up for a minute or so... Fought like a bluefish at first was watching the rod tip shaking all around guess it was trying to spit out the plug... neways.. steaked it up to get the most out of it...

The belly was on the big E for Empty... although the smaller blues we were catching were spitting up silversides and pieces of squid...

He had a few nice tail slaps after that but was setting the hook to soon... trying to fully convert him away from the ways of the bait... less stink...
