Anybody have any idears on the most common reason why trailer lights don't work . My *&^%^**! trailer light where working now their all out . I'm thinking it may be a ground issue but I'm not sure.

Absolutlely, check the ground first. Just about every time I have an issue it's the ground. Most recently, I solved my issue by drilling a new hole in my vehicle frame and using a new screw to attach the ground wire to the new hole. Problem solved, rust had accumulated between the screw and the frame.

Good luck!

Lightbulb test wire

get a new length of wire (12 feet long) with a hefty aligater clip on both ends

so you can isolate individual wires and by pass the old to see whats what.
