Falmouth

Ran my boat out of falmouth today to the elizabeths....got on the water at 4:30a, and as soon as daybreak hit...pea-soup fog everywhere....you couldn't see 30 yards.

Stayed that way until noon when I ran back to falmouth, and the weather was clear (but hazy) from Woods Hole east to Falmouth.

Good ocean swells and things were churning up, but it's making it weedy. Not good for plugs but we had no trouble drifting eels and picked up a few nice fish.

Falmouth Bait and Tackle is a good shop.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
