Awful bright moon out there; just tell yourself you're not missing much.

Beautiful night to be out there though.

party spoiler. I do prefer pitch black nights, but the fish are somtimes still lurking around. Beats hanging around here tonight. The high tide is late tonight anyhow.

black hours during the big moon

You can still fish the black hours of the big moon by knowing when the moon rises and sets. It set this morning at 4:02 but was hidden by the clouds at 3:35 (a bonus). Just pick your spots by the stage of the tide. Throw in the fact that we have had some fairly big surf and good whitewater for a good week now making the fishing err uh make that catching good for several hours after sun up.
