don't think for a minute that he hasn't talked to every specialist there is. apparently his stroke was caused by a small hole in his heart which has since been repaired. i wouldn't want him to return if it was dangerous for him. he's been working out with the team for 2 weeks now.

You heard it here first...bad move and one I believe will cost him......Reggie Lewis had specialists..... different situation but the doc's said "yeah, go ahead and play"......he has nothing to gain and everything to lose....bottom line!

Last season I saw a piece about that former Steeler great (Vectorfisher would know his name) and it was about how too many hits to the cranium turned this guys head to mush.....whether you choose to believe it or not this condition was caused by his profession and will worsen in time...I hope I am wrong. Co-incedence it happened right after the Pro-Bowl??? I don't think so.....it wouldn't have happened in June I bet!

Tedy had a clot..It passed thru the hole in his heart causing the stroke..They repaired the hole but he is still proned to clots...Doesnt mean that playing football will or any strenous "workouts " will cause another one...He could have one walking down the street...If I was him I would call it quits I think, for his kids....

They say there is no greater risk for him to have another stroke wether it be playing football or walking the dog down the street. if he's gonna have another one he will. But playing football wont put him at any greater risk. So why not play if it makes no difference? He is a good family man, so if there was ANY risk at all i doubt he would even consider coming back.
