last boat trip today

went out on my last boat trip for the season today , the plan was to try to get a couple of cod fish for dinner , but i could not help myself i had to try a couple of my favorite striper spots . trolled around for a while ,i did not see , mark or catch any , oh well , headed out side for a while , 1 small cod , 1 med. dog . then the wind picked up , lost my only heavy jig , game over . i have very few complaints about this season only that the bigger fish eluded me , once the weather broke it was a great spring , and the fall run was the best i ever had , on a scale from 1-10 i give this season a 7 , just going to have to work a little harder for the large next year
